The 32nd. annual “Insights” juried exhibition opened at the Wellington County Museum on June 9 and will run till September 3, 2011. “Insights” is sponsored by the Elora, On. Arts Council and has become one of the main artistic events of the year. It’s a difficult show to get into. There were 294 entries this year. I entered 2- figurative paintings and 3 landscapes and was really pleased to be awarded 3rd. prize for my one successful entry entitled “Jewels Reclining”.
