Fields, Trees and Tides

“Fields, Trees and Tides” opened at The Creperie in Elora, On. on Saturday evening February 19 and runs till March 28.

The evening of Saturday Feb. 19 was inclement to say the least with cold temperatures and blowing snow.  Never-the-less 100 plus souls braved the elements to attend the opening and we had a blast.

Jacques Dion proprietor of The Creperie has been hosting one man/woman and group shows of both art and photography since moving to his new location at 40 Mill St. West in Elora.  Art shows in restaurants are nothing new, but few have a curatorial staff.  Jim Reed a well known local artist and photographer Diane Cousins have taken on the roles as co-curators of The Creperie Restaurant/Gallery.
The show was made up mainly of field studies and studio paintings from the studies.
Rob and Heather Kerr and my daughter Jenny.
I had 30 paintings and drawings in the show.
Robyn is one of the favourite models in the area. We all draw and paint her a lot.
